I'm a strategic communications leader with over 10 years of experience building enterprise-wide communications strategy, advising executive and elected leadership through high-stakes public messaging, and translating complex initiatives into narratives that drive results.
I currently serve as Digital Content Manager and Public Information Officer for the City of Lakeland, where I set digital strategy and brand governance across 20+ municipal departments, advise executive leadership on communications and crisis response, and oversee budget decisions exceeding $750K. My work has driven a 25% increase in audience engagement, a 20% gain in brand recognition, and more than $400K in annual savings through process improvements I designed and implemented.
I hold a Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategies from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Central Florida.
I serve as President of the Mu Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where I lead with the same values I bring to my professional work: leadership, service, and mentorship. I also serve as Director of Graphic Design for the Florida Federation of Alphas Chapters, leading brand and creative direction for a statewide organization, and sit on the advisory boards for Polk State College's Digital Media Program and Polk County Public Schools' Academy of Business, Finance and Technology Careers, helping shape how the next generation of creative and business talent is trained.

With a degree in graphic design, I have always been passionate about the arts. From digital to print, I strive to create aesthetically pleasing work that resonates with audiences. As a lifelong advocate for the arts, I deeply understand its role in society and its power in visual communication.

PROJECT ELEVATE
Project Elevate is about advocating design and creativity in the community. When the opportunity presents itself, I enjoy sharing with others the impact art and design has had on my life and how I utilize it in my career today. Starting the conversations identifying the power of art and design allows others to apply the information to create their own artistic path.
Thinking beyond the camera, I tapped into creativity to design a beginner skate class from scratch. What started as a simple six-week course evolved into a 28-week journey that brought joy, fitness, and a sense of community to participants. SLIDING INTO FUN
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is a community service-based organization dedicated to leadership, advocacy, and uplifting communities. Mentorship is a vital part of this mission, as it equips young men with the guidance and tools needed to succeed in life. As Vice President of the Polk County chapter, I am proud of our Men of Tomorrow program, which focuses on Preparation, Practice, and Performance to help young men excel academically, professionally, and personally, empowering them to become future leaders and make a positive impact in their communities. The PeaceMakers was founded by a group of artists looking to make a difference in their community using the power of art and design. The PeaceMakers host creative events to help bring the community together. Through art installations, workshops, and live events, The group aimed to inspire change and foster unity. Their mission was to use creativity as a tool to address social issues and amplify community voices. By partnering with local artists and organizations, we strived to make art accessible to everyone.
